Impregnation of concrete

Our concrete impregnation is a water-based impregnation product that gives tiles and concrete surfaces a natural look.

As the years go by, both moss and algae will stick to your concrete surface, causing it to become discolored. With a thorough cleaning, as well as a treatment with our impregnation, you can get rid of this problem. Our concrete impregnation is a natural remedy that is Nordic Ecolabelled and therefore not toxic. At the same time, you can expect a concrete treatment that is active for up to 15 years!

We recommend that concrete impregnation does not come into contact with other types of surfaces such as wood, as the product is exclusively developed for use on concrete, tiles and other types of natural stone.

Before starting the treatment, we recommend that you test the impregnation in a small area to be sure that your attack has a positive response to the impregnation. This can be used as a starting point for how little or how much is needed to achieve the desired result. As a rule of thumb, 1 liter of concrete impregnation is enough for 8-10m2.

There are two working methods to protect your concrete surface.

The quick method is to apply it directly on the surface without any kind of pre-treatment. Moss and algae will subsequently be dissolved and washed away with the rain. However, this will mean that the surface needs another treatment after a few years. This is because this method has no in-depth cleaning work before the impregnation is applied.

By using the thorough method, you will make sure that the treatment is active for up to 15 years! Clean all moss and algae from the tiles with our StoneTreatment basic cleaning, where you subsequently give the completely clean surface a treatment with either spray or roller.
